I take life very seriously, but I also take some time out to have fun.  I had a caricature done when I went to the REALTOR'S® convention in California in 2003.  The artist and I had a nice conversation about my tour of wine country so this is what he drew.  The wine is accurate and it was a rainy day, but I'll never have a shape like that!

You deserve to understand the alternatives so you can decide wisely.  That's my philosophy of real estate.  I live and work by it, and while I'm doing it, I meet and get to know wonderful people.

In the past, I was a high school teacher for 30 years:  a member of many boards and organizations, including Elder of First Presbyterian Church, Ashland University Trustee, AAUW president.  I was an Ashland City Councilmember for four years and am again a council member.  I am a member of Elks Lodge 1360 in Ashland. 

I'm extremely pleased and grateful that my fellow REALTORS® chose me to receive the REALTORS® Distinguished Service Award for the year 2002.  I was named REALTOR® of the year for Ashland Board of REALTORS® in September of 2003.  In 2004, I was president of the Ashland Board of REALTORS®.
