I am here to assure you that St. Christopher's parish doors & hearts are wide open. Will you do the same?

Let this be your opportunity to personally pledge a renewal of your spiritual life-style, of your Confirmation promises, of your weekly reception of the Eucharist. In the past, quite a large number of people have joined the parish after receiving a similar letter from our Rectory.

If you are not a member of a parish, consider how to take the very simple steps required to join our or one of the surrounding parishes & then remain faithful to it. It will be good for you and us.

On the other hand, if you are already involved in the Eucharist, there are still ample opportunities to use your talents to accompany your religiously alienated or less involved family members, friends & neighbors back to their life in the Church.

Do you know someone who was raised Catholic, but does not come to church anymore because of re-marriage after divorce, or because of a hurt or misunderstanding, or because of misinformation about the teaching of the Church, etc.?

In our God blessed country, we may have money, jobs, kids, leisure, yet…something deep down & important often is missing in our lives. We feel it and long to solve that once and forever.

Have you yourself discontinued the reception of the Sacraments for any reason? Would you like now to return to that Church Jesus gave us 2,000 years ago & try to foster a personal relationship of mutual support with God and his people?

Then call or visit me personally or by mail or e-mail and as soon as convenient. Let's resolve any lingering concern and happily return to the weekly Eucharistic encounters. Those St. Christopher parishioners that you may already know and all the others will soon form an informal, close knit, warm, welcoming small community and support you in Christ. They will help you also with the Catholic moral & religious education of your children and the reception of their sacraments.

St. Christopher is the youngest parish of Butler County. In recent years we have been steadily growing in numbers. Parishioners plan and run our entire worship, educational, social, and financial life with me. We accompany the individuals through their preparation to marriage, the birth and baptism of the infants, and the various major and minor chapters of their lives. Together, we run the educational programs for adults, for children and teenagers, and even for those who want to become Catholics.

We have followed a simple formula for always remaining financially solvent: hardly anyone can afford to pay all or any of the Biblical tithing. But almost everyone can compensate by pitching in and doing something with their time and talents. By following this formula, we now have no financial debts & all our facilities are modern, spacious, elegant, safe, air-conditioned & handicapped friendly.
