We are Curt and Sandy McCullers. We have been Teen
Leaders with our church (Pennsville Baptist) for 14+ years, Executive
Associates as of this year and Associate Missionaries
with Word of Life Fellowship Inc. for four+ years. I am a Lead Engineer at
Bombardier Transportation and have 30 years service. I presently
work in the Technical Services group. I write software using Delphi (home),
NSBasic for PalmOS, Lotus Notes and have written software using Pascal, C++, assembly and PLM.
My wife was a "retired" registered nurse but now works for me in our
new business.
About My Wife
Sandy now manages our new business, Five
Colors, a company created to sale products we designed and had
manufactured for us. Sandy is now: secretary, office manager, warehouse
manager, sales manager, receptionist, packer, bookkeeper, shipper, and a lot
of other things as well as doing part time work in a chiropractor's office.
Hobbies
One of my hobbies is creating software to help with my teen ministry. The
Verse Study program is one of those programs. Others are in the planning stage (in my
mind). Most of my software for home and teen ministry is written using Borland's Delphi.
I also like playing the trumpet and I have over 32 gospel music books to play from.
I tried learning the guitar for a while, but determined that I didn't have enough
time to learn so I ended up selling it. I am also enjoying my hummingbird feeder. We
saw our first hummingbirds at it on May 11, 1996. It was a real pleasure to see the
first hummer. In 1998, we saw very few hummingbirds. We are guessing that it
had something to do with the unusual weather we have had that year. (I'm blaming it
on El Nino.)
I am continuing to learn how to make balloon animals. This
has been great fun and the young kids just love the balloons. I have recently
purchased a professional balloon pump and have been practicing to make more and more
complex balloon animals. I am looking forward to the time I can put balloons inside
balloons and be able to tell a story while doing it.
