CHRISTMAS PARTY
Its time to get those reservations in for the annual Christmas Party!
The event will be held on Saturday December 7th at the Meridian Fire Hall. The flyer is attached to the newsletter with more information.
We are still in need of door prizes, if you have something to contribute, bring it to the party with you. The club will be giving out gift cards also, and there is always a nice 50/50, so you may come out ahead of the cost for tickets! DJ Jan Smith, dinner by Fairground Market, entertainment by Butch & Joe, this is always a fun event for our members so if you have not been to the party in recent years, come out and socialize with your fellow club members and guests.. POSSIBLE FUTURE CRUISES
The Lowrie House, which is a personal care home located at Stirling Village on rt 68, was in contact with us about a cruise/show at their facility. The person who contacted us was very open about any ideas for a day, date, time, ect. She wants to have this event for their residents and to make people aware of the facility. As all summer, due to time constraints we were not able to commit. If someone out there is interested in working on this, please contact Joe Mudrick
at 724-285-8719. The second possibility is for the 2020 cruise season. Curt Weichey and Weichey Auto Glass on rt 422 has put on cruises on Friday nights in July & August for the past few years. Curt has done this as a fundraiser to support a homeless charity he is involved with.
Due to time constraints and lack of help he was not able to have any
this summer. He was wondering if we would be interested in teaming up with him. This would reduce the workload on him, and us and could lead to some nice events. Curt is also very open to ideas and would like to come to a meeting in the future to see what we could put together.
