VA Gilmore in Brown Silk

This silk fabric is stunning! Its loose weave makes it look hand woven. I’ve made the handle slightly wider than my other purses, just to set off the fabric even more. You’ll be surprised how much fits in this purse; it’s got a boxy shape, so wear this one everyday. The handle is 19 ½ in. long and it closes with a zipper. The sides and bottom of the purse are brown faux suede, and the lining is a cream Dupioni silk. This purse has an inside zipper. This design is simple and it displays an exquisite choice of textiles.
