Fantastic Paper Mache Saddlemakers Display Horse - $10,850.  Size: 80” tall, 87” long, 24” wide (16 hands).  Here is an unbelievable paper mache item. This 100% full size horse was used in a saddlery shop to show off their finest offerings. Most likely there was a fancy silver inlaid saddle and bridle that was put on the horse. He was then rolled outside the shop for everyone to admire the saddlemaker's work. The horse is on its original platform with wheels. He has almost a Lippenzanner feel to him with a proud stance, muscles showing etc. The condition of this fine animal is wonderful. He is made entirely of paper mache over a wood frame, with glass expressive eyes, and a real horsehair tail. He is painted in what appears to be his original white color.

Rare ,Paper Mache Millners Head - $945.00.  (Fit -Rite Hat Block).  Size: 6” wide x 8 1/2” deep x 11 1/2” tall.  This folk art head was made to size a mans hat back in the days when men wore something besides baseball caps on their heads. It’s made of a paper mache of some sort with original paint and painted on measurement tapes. The original label on the neck reads “Fit Rite Hat Block-Patent Pending.” There is nothing but good old fashioned wear and dirt on this one, no damage other than normal wear. It has a wooden 3 hole base inset into it to secure it while being used.

Maybe you could put a plant on top and some books on the shelf, or perhaps a great way to serve snacks at your next cocktail party to your weight conscious friends as just a gentle reminder not to eat to much...
