Economy Tea Box Display -$535
 12" wide x 13" deep x 17" high. Here is a grocery store Wooden Display piece with all its original  color and stencils advertising the Economy Brand English Breakfast Tea. Great condition

 

 

Spice tin, with 8 compartments - $2750
32" wide x 20" high x 12" deep. This is a very clean, colorful,
and well preserved General Store piece. Each of the little doors could hold a different spice - marked mustard, cinnamon, etc. - and were refilled by the grocer from large containers at the top of each bin. The condition is great and this piece is truly rare.

Ice Cream Bucket - original mustard paint & stencil - $250

Size: 11" dia x 16" high  
Well preserved ice cream bucket made for the Imperial Dairy in Cumberland, Md. This was the delivery container to the soda fountains of the late 1800's to be scooped from and then returned for the next customer.

 

6-sided Pagoda-shaped Victorian spice display dispenser - $3400
Ca. 1870
This is an absolutely wonderful spice tin.  The tin is in 3 major parts, first the cast iron feet and post that makes it turn, the bottom tins and storage, and the top decoration section which hides the filler and funnel for filling. As you can see from the photo the piece is very colorful.

 

Butcher Shop Bull's Head - $5250

This is a great carved 3/4 size bulls head used as a decoration in a butcher shop.  It is hand carved with real horns attached and in its original paint.

Cigar Store Countertop Lighter - $495

Size: 5" square base, 11" tall  
This is a good little countertop piece from a cigar store in Cincinnati, Ohio. The lamp was kept lit and the customer would hold one of the lighters - one on each side - over the flame and use it to light his cigar.

 

Miniature Meat Rack with Eagle top - $650

Size:18" high x 48" wide
One of the earliest Gloeckler meat racks I've seen.
Very unusual design with small tool arrangement
with extra curly cues and stars. I'm sure this is a premier model.
