Unusual Black Ventriloquist Dummy - $5850.00. 38 tall. I have owned this fantastic guy since the late 60s. He was found in an estate in Mercer, Pa. (Western Pa. north of Pgh) His head is carved of cherry or maple I believe with excellcior for hair, a spring loaded moveable chin and glass eyes. He does not have particularly black facial features but he is in original black paint and hair. His cap and clothing seem to be all hand made and sewn(cap)? and he definitely needs a seamstress to take pity on him. If he had shoes, I didnt get them. He and I talked about it and he would definitely be more comfortable with a nice pair of boots. This is a great, great piece and we will miss him. Hes actually a good conversationalist on those long winter nights.

Rare and unusual Cast Iron Pumpkin Head Mold - $3250.00. Size: 8 1/4 tall (not including base) 8 deep, 8 wide This is a most unusual and folky item. It is made of cast iron in the 30s by a man in Northeastern Ohio for the purpose of molding growing pumpkins in the form of a human head. I have copies of the original newspaper article with pictures and some additional pictures. He has a wonderful folk art feel and would display well on a small wall shelf or tabletop. Youve got to love his simple and naive smile and the clamp fastening blocks by his ears which gives him an almost alien spaceman look. The hole in his nose is not damage, but made on purpose to relieve pressure caused by the growing pumpkin. His custom made base is modern and included with the head.
