Ida (Firestone) Langenheim

Ida C. (Firestone) Langenheim was born in 1872 in Fayette County, PA, the daughter of Lewis and Sarah Ann (Rose) Firestone <bio-rose,_sarahfirestone.htm>.
On April 30, 1902, 30-year-old Ida married 33-year-old John R. Langenheim. They united themselves in marriage. He was the son of Charles M. and Mary M. Langenheim of Washington County, PA.
They had four children -- Howard Langenheim, Robert Langenheim, Leroy E. Langenheim and Eleanor Langenheim.
John was a laborer, working in 1902 in Connellsville.
Circa 1930, the family resided in Burgettstown, Washington County, PA.
Their fates are unknown.
Son Leroy (1903-1981) married Nettie (Cain) Plymire (1904-1989). He "resided in Burgettstown for 50 years and in Carmichaels for two years," said the Waynesburg (PA) Republican. "He was a member of the United Presbyterian Church at Hickory. Prior to his retirement in 1968, he had been a truck driver for the Cowden Trucking Co. at Hickory."

Pleasant Cemetery at Hickory, Washington, Pennsyvania.)
