October 2, 2002 - Finally, after almost two years, an update. Connor is now 21 months old and getting an early start on his terrible twos. He has developed quite a tantrum. He has a huge vocabulary (larger than Ed's). In fact, he's dictating this now. He also knows all of his colors. His favorite things are cars and trucks, balls and motorcycles.
Connor, 21 months old.
Happy Birthday, Connor!
Connor Lewis Anderson was born via c-section on December 14, 2000 at 8:35am. He weighed a whopping 9 pounds, 2 ounces and was 20 inches long. Connor was so big, he didn't fit through the incision the doctor had made, so they had to use the vacuum to help pull him out! The doctor kept saying, "Wow, this is a big baby!" as they were trying to get him out. Finally, when he came out, the doctor said "Wait until you see these chubby cheeks!" We picked the name 'Connor' because we liked it (and it went well with the Irish names, Ryan and Sean). His middle name, Lewis, is Ed's dad's name. Sean and Ryan just adore their new baby brother. They are mesmerized by his "tiny little toes and fingers" as they like to say. Of course, once they realized how many things this new baby would change, they may be having second thoughts, but we think they will agree to keep him. :) (for example, the first time they had to ride in the van with Connor, and their car seats had to be moved, talk about a MELTDOWN!!!!) We have been thoroughly blessed by this beautiful little baby boy. So far, he is a wonderful baby, sleeping so much, even at night. . .Let's only hope things stay that way. . . .wishful thinking, probably, but you never know! (This page has a lot of pictures and takes a while to load if you don't have a broadband connection. Please be patient)
