Ashland Public Library Craft Club

September 2008 Ashland Craft Club meeting attracted the largest number of handcrafters to date.

The three ladies who own Susie Homemaker And More, a sewing and craft supply shop just up the street from the library demonstrated some of their cleverest crafting gadgets. Theresa And Company presented a hands-on project to the group: creating an apple or pumpkin (crafter's choice) TP cover. Now we know why T. asked each person to bring a full roll of toilet paper. Speculation on what she had planned for all that TP was rampant throughout Ashland's craft community all last week. Revenge for overdue books was among the speculations, but proved not to be the case, at least not this time.

As usual, crafters brought their own current projects to work on during the meeting:

This angora rabbit has a job. He produces the fiber that goes into
hand-spun yarn for weaving and crafting.
People were very much interested in each other's
crafts and much sharing went on all evening.
