Words and music by Marji

2. 'Tis pneumonia we're courting
as with sniffles we are snorting
and our greeting is a mutual "achoo".
Must we spend the summer shiv'ring?
What a way to make a living!
And the customers, well, they are shiv'ring too.
3. Never thought I'd long for winter
any more than for the splinter
that uninvited recently pierced through my hand.
but in winter we were warmer.

ly and foolishly complained of frozen land.
4. In my Macintosh and muffler
you'll find me looking fluffier
then a grizzly bear in his full winter coat.
And it really is a bummer
when I have to spend all summer
with an earache and sandpaper in my throat.
5. All that money I'd be losing
is almost worth refusing
to submit another day to refrigeration.
The only reason I'm still here in-
stead of outside is the fear of
unemployment that's the plague of my generation.
