Rescue 484
Rescue 484 is a 2006 Pierce Contender Mini-Pumper with 5 person cab on a GMC 5500 4X4 chassis, purchased from Finnley Fire Equipment.  It was delivered on July 25, 2007.  It was debuted in the Hamlin July 4th parade, but was on display at the Daytona International Speedway in February for the Daytona 500, for which it displays the Daytona logo and the checkered flag scotchlite.  Rescue 484 was placed into service in September 2007, and replaces Rescue 482.  It is equiped with a Waterous 500 gpm PTO pump, and carries 230 gallons of water and 20 gallons of Class A foam.  The hose bed carries 650 feet of 2 1/2" hose and 135 feet of 5" LDH.  Additional equipment includes: Amkus Hydraulic Spreader, Cutter, Ram, powered by a dual output four cycle power plant with manual backup; Paratech 75 ton Airbag System; Five Scott 50 SCBAs with five spare bottles; Ferno Stokes Basket; Three Spill Packs; Preloaded 4:1 Haul; 50 pieces of various dimensions of cribbing; electric cords; hydraulic hoses; various hand tools
