 Changes
to "Pet of the Month" Program -
In addition to the pets we have
chosen and will continue to pick each month, if you adopt a pet from the
shelter and pay the adoption fee ($45.00 males; $55.00 females), you can get
ANY pet you want spayed or neutered before taking it home. All pets at the
shelter can be Pets of the Month! The shelter has several large litters of
puppies that all need to be spayed or neutered before going home. Thanks for
your help! We need to make a change at our local animal shelter to stop the
insanity of dogs and cats being adopted before they have been spayed or
neutered.
The Ashland Boyd
County Dog Park welcomes Ms. May as our Pet of the Month.
They call me "Wiggles".
People say that I wiggle all over when someone pays attention to me.
People also tell me that I smile a lot. I would love to go home with you and
give you lots of wiggles and love... and lots of smiles for you! Wiggles is
a young female mixed breed about 25 pounds. This great dog can be adopted
from the Boyd County Animal Control Shelter for $75.00, and will be spayed
and given a rabies shot at the time of adoption. Wiggles, and all other pets
available for adoption at our local shelter, can be viewed at
petfinders.com.
