| Utley William M., Sr. 74 Burton Services for William M. Utley Sr. will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, at Boyd Funeral Home, Marion, by the Rev. Fred Buckner. Burial will be in Marion Cemetery, Marion. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday. He died at 6:37 p.m. Monday, July 14, 2003, at Geauga Hospital, Chardon. He was born June 21, 1929, in Grayson, Ky., to Strother and Dollie (Terry) Utley. He was first married in 1954, in Marion, to Barbara A. Rizer, who preceded him in death in January 1980. In 1982, in Kenton, he married Helen L. Smith, who preceded him in death Dec. 1, 2002. Surviving are four sons, Les E. of Newbury; William M. Jr. (Sheila) of Marion; Robert M. (Judy) of Sidney and James E. Thompson of Colorado Springs, Colo.; a daughter, Martha T, Utley of Hilliard; three brothers, Arthur (Shirley) of LaRue, Thomas (Rosemary) of Marion and Robert of Prospect; five sisters, Thelma (Leonard) Mustard, Rena (Bill) Rose and Lu (Dean) Chivington, all of Marion, Glenda (Glen) Craft of Fort Wayne, Ind., and Thena (Chuck) Simmons of Tennessee; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was a retired electrician, having worked most of his life for Marion Electric Sales and Services and Kenton Electric Motors. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice. |
