Roger Crank, 61, husband of Brenda Sue Hager Crank of Vincewood Drive, died peacefully Tuesday at Central Baptist Hospital.
He was the owner of Roger Crank Construction and had a passion for hunting, fishing and NASCAR.
Mr. Crank was the son of John Oather Crank and Ludie Utley Crank. Additional survivors include a daughter, Robyn Crank of Nicholasville; three sons, Alan Crank of Nicholasville, Jamie Crank of Nicholasville and Billy Crank of Wilmore; seven grandchildren, two brothers, Gene and Raymond Crank, both of Nicholasville; three sisters, Maxine Scott of Alabama, Leona Roberts of Lexington and Harriett Harp of Georgetown, and his "maw," Francis Lowry.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Betts & West Funeral Home with the Rev. James Baker.
Visitation will be today (Thursday) from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery.
Bearers will be Tommy Shewmaker, Eddie Burgan, Chester Hager Jr., Elgan Bruner, Greg and Jeff Crank. Honorary bearers will be Hugh Spurlock, George Ramos, Harold Rogers and Richard Cash.
