Frank Lapa,
the owner, has over forty years experience cutting hair and
has seen lengths change from short to long and back many
times. He cuts all hairstyles,
even Mohawks. His artistry
with scissors and clippers has been proven by fulfilling
customer requests for various shapes, numbers, lightning
bolts, footballs, etc.
At Lapa's Barber
Shop, we sell
grooming and hair products such as shampoos, conditioners,
gels, colognes, and more.
Lapa's has
evolved from an old fashioned barber shop to the atmosphere of
a salon without losing its charm. Customers still
debate about current events, politics, religion, sports,
and parenting, for example. Many like to watch the latest
movie release on Frank's HD LCD TV and surround sound
while they are in the chair or waiting. He
even traded his hand-written ledgers for the
latest bookkeeping software program for his
computer. Frank also offers free Wi-Fi for use with your
laptop computer.
 Check out the
nice article published by the Butler Eagle Sunday Edition,
Focus Section, on today's shops entitled Classic
Clipping . Our barber shop was one of
those featured in the Butler and Grove City area.
Contrary to popular opinion, there seems to be a rise
in barber licenses in
Pennsylvania. More recently, another article was
published in the Sharon Herald
Sunday Edition entitled
Barber Shop Talk . It emphasizes the barber shop as
a community gathering place to talk about a myriad of subjects
from the economy to
sports.
