Each day listed below describes our tentative itinerary for this bike tour. This is tentative for many reasons, but the biggest reason is that participants will have the opportunity to have an input into what we do and see each day. |

Daily Itinerary |

We will leave ELC @9:00am. We will arrive in Washington, DC about 4:00pm. We will stay overnight at: First Trinity Lutheran Hostel (Reserved) |

Day 1—July 13th—Travel to Washington, DC |

Day 2—July 14th—Tour Washington, DC |
|
Mile post 0 Great Falls National Historic Park We will stay overnight at a Hiker/Biker campsite along the trail. |

Day 3—July 15th |
|
Monocacy Aqueduct · The Bloodiest One Day Battle in American History We still stay at either: · Antietam Battlefield Campground · Antietam Creek hiker/biker campsite |

Day 4—July 16th |
|
Antietam National Battlefield Continued. Dam 4 detour (2.5 miles on road detour) Mid point of C&O canal (mp 92) · French & Indian War era stone fort Western Maryland Rail-trail (asphalt) Overnight: C&O Bicycle Bunkhouse Hancock, MD (Reserved) · Showers and a bed |

Western Maryland Rail-trail continued (Asphalt) Paw Paw Tunnel Oldtown Overnight: Irons Mountain hiker/biker campsite.

Cumberland, MD George Washington Headquarters Western Maryland Railroad Museum Beginning of the Great Allegheny Passage Overnight: Frostburg State University, Frostburg, MD (Reserved) · Showers, a bed. and ahhhhh...air conditioning
