Obituary
REBA JEAN VANFAUSSIEN BLACK, 76, of Sanford, N.C., formerly of Panama City, Fla., died Monday, May 30, 2005, at 4 a.m. in CCH of Stanford. Mrs. Black was born in Huntington on December 14, 1929. She was the church secretary of Westmoreland United Methodist Church of Huntington for many years. Surviving family include devoted and loving husband, Attlee P. Black; children Terri Nicolas and husband Jay of Huntington, Nancy Hallman and Bob of Lexington, N.C., Jeffrey Dale Black and Connie of Bonifay, Fla., and Kitty Maynard and Lucian of Pittsboro, N.C. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; one step-grandchild; three great-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren. A private ceremony will be held in Panama City, Fla., at a later date. A memorial garden has been planted in her honor in North Carolina.
