Zedick (Dock) Thompson, 90 years old, of Genoa R., died May 10, at the home of Cleveland Thompson. He had been in bad health for the past ten years and had been bedfast for the past five weeks. Mr. Thompson had been a member of the United Baptist church for 70 years. He was married to Mary Wallace and one child was born to them, who died in infancy. After the death of his first wife, he married Ada Crabtree and to them eleven children were born, seven of whom survive as follows: George Thompson of Buffalo creek; Mrs. Laura Jackson and Mrs. Mary Robertson, of Fort Gay R.;W. H. Thompson, of Grassy; Cleveland Thompson, Z. G. Thompson, of Genoa R.; and Lonnie Thompson, of Wayne R; one brother, Henry Thompson, of Honaker, Va; two sisters, also of Virginia; 44 grandchildren and several great-.....
