On 10/26/2003 published my web pages to my new internet service provider site.

Overall the site is pretty much the same as it was before with some noteable changes. It is no longer called the "Dillon/Jarrell Genealogy Home Page", but is now the "Dillon Genealogy & Other Resources" page. Another change is the background colors of the web pages. Before, the various colors that I used for the backgrounds made the information difficult to read. I am currently in the process of changing the background color on all pages. Have also made a change in the format of the individual family member pages. Before, each page started with the individuals name, dates and place of birth/death and lineage followed by any notes, wills, obituaries, etc... Now, following the individuals lineage, you will find a table with the following categories in the cells: "Obituary", "Will", "Notes" and "Miscellaneous". Each of these categories is a hyperlink to information concerning the current individual - providing information exists. This format change is not complete so you may still run across some of the older pages. I will continue to make changes to try to improve the appearance and useability of my pages. Hope you enjoy this site and find the information you are looking for.

Despite the large gap between this date and the last update notice, there have been a large number of updates and additions. Just wanted to let you know that this site has not died, but rather there are so many updates being made that it has been impossible to list them all here.

Since the last entry on this page, numerous updates and additions have been made. There have been updates and additions to the Histories and Cemetery sections. There have been major updates to the Crabtree, Damron, Jarrell, McCorkle, Pratt, Thompson and Watts family sections. Also there have been new family surnames added to the list including: Buchanan, Forrest, Holley and Spiller. These are only a small portion of the changes that have been made over the past year so you may want to browse through the site to find the changes that have been made.

Since the last entry on this page, numerous updates and additions have been made. The Dillon and Van Faussien/Van Fossen family sections have had major updates, corrections and additions. Several new states have been added to the Cemetery section along with several new cemetery listings for Wayne and Cabell Counties in West Virginia. Many new obituaries have been added, primarily for the Bolin surname, but others have been added also. A few additions have been made to the Histories section. Not all of the changes are listed here so if there is a particular name that you are interested in you may want to check it for updates.
