Will: George Pascal Dillon


Probated Will:

       I, George P. Dillon, of 1741 Washington Avenue, Huntington, W. Va., being of sound mind and disposing memory, realizing the uncertainty of life and the certainty of death do make and constitute this as and for my last will and testament.
       I hereby give and bequeath all my estate real and personal to my wife Nancy A. Dillon to be her sole and separate property to do with and dispose of as she pleases and in any manner she may see fit. I appoint my said wife sole executrix of this will and direct she shall not be required to give bond. In witness whereof I the said George P. Dillon do on this the 9th day of April A. D. do sign and constitute this as and for my said will and deed and act in the presence of J. W. Perry and Anna E. Dillon witnesses thereto who signed the same in my presence and the presence of each other and at my request.

       On this 9th day of Apr 1915 the foregoing named George P. Dillon testator signed the said will as and for his last will and testament in the presence of us, said witnesses who in his presence and the presence of each other and at his request signed the same as witnesses to said will and in the presence of said testator.

       At a regular session of the county court of Cabell County, West Virginia held at the Court House thereof on the 23rd day of February 1916 the following order was made and entered.
       In the matter of probate of the Last Will and Testament of George P. Dillon, deceased.
       This day there was presented in open court a paper writing dated the 9th day of April 1915 signed by George P. Dillon and witnessed by J. W. Perry and Anna E. Dillon. Said writing purporting to be the last will and testament of George P. Dillon deceased late of Cabell County, and no one appearing and objecting to the probate of said will and the same being duly proven by the oaths of J. W. Perry and Anna E. Dillon the two subscribing witnesses thereto. It is therefore ordered that the said writing be and the same is duly probated and ordered to be recorded as and for the true last will and testament of the said George P. Dillon, deceased.
