AUGUST, 2008 Aug. 16 (Sat.) -- 9:00 a.m. AAUW/ OHIO LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE, OHIO WESLEYAN UNIVERSITY, DELAWARE OHIO. Aug. 19 (Tues.) -- 4:00 p.m. BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING, at the home of Jill Heck. Aug. 19 (Tues.) -- 5:00 p.m. SUMMER POT LUCK DINNER AND INFORMAL MEETING, at the home of Jill Heck, Medina. Bring a covered dish: appetizer, entree, salad, side or dessert to share. Beverages will be supplied. Branch member Annette Miller will discuss antique and collectible jewelry. Wear one of your favorite baubles and a fun summer hat (optional). Sept. 20 (Sat.) -- 8:00 p.m. ARTS AND ENTERTAINMENT GROUP will attend the first recital in the Main Street Medina Artist Series in Broadway Hall, of the Medina County Administration Building, Medina. The program for the evening is the noted pianist Sedmara Zakarian Rutstein who will perform an all-Russian concert. Group ticket rate is $20 per person. Sept. 25 (Thurs.) -- 7:00 p.m. MEMBERSHIP MEETING, The Reserve Building, 337 Medina Rd., Medina, Lower Level Meeting Room. To kick off this first fall meeting, AAUW/ Ohio President Diane Regan will offer insight from the latest Association research publication, Where the Girls Are, a report on the relationship of girls' and boys' progress in education in the last 35 years.
