ARTS & ENTERTAINMENT

        Members organize trips to visit area places of interest or attend cultural events. Contact person: Marilyn Sigel, DAMARFARM@aol.com .

Medina Branch members toured the new state-of-the-art Buckeye Library and learned about Bookmobile and other outreach services. 

 

BOOK DISCUSSION GROUP (DAYTIME)

        Meets the second Monday of the month (Sept. - May) at 1:00 p.m. at members' homes. Members share in book selection and leadership. Books vary from classics, to current fiction, non-fiction to biography. The group has read and attended plays together and held a poetry month reading. TLC (TO LEARN BY COOKING)

        Cultural cooking group. Member bring component courses that compliment a specific main theme; on occasion, there will be hands-on cooking or culinary excursions. Sessions are held in the evening on a bi-monthly basis in member's homes. Contact person: Pat Chaloupek, pchal@zoominternet.net . This group is temporarily on hiatus and will be resumed when there is sufficient interest.

BOOK DISCUSSION GROUP (EVENING)

   This new discussion group is for members who find it more convenient to meet in the early evening.  Meetings are now established as the third Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. Contact person: Pat Chaloupek, pchal@zoominternet.net .
