Located in the Monongahela Valley of Southwestern Pennsylvania, The Mon Valley Fitness Center is a coed fitness facility with approximately 8,000 square feet of workout room! Whatever your exercise habits are, the MVFC has a program to fit your lifestyle as well as personal needs. MVFC offers a variety of rates and membership packages to choose from.

Mondays: 9:45am - Spice; 5:30pm - Pilates; 6:00pm - PowerSculpt; 7:00pm - Zumba

Tuesdays: 5:00pm - Cardio Kickboxing;

Wednesdays: 9:45am - Spice; 5:30pm - Pilates; 6:00pm - PowerSculpt; 7:00pm - Rave Cycle or Belly Dance

Fridays: 9:45am - Spice

Saturdays: 9:45am - Spice; 10:45 Zumba

Variety is the spice of life! 1-hour of everything from Interval Training, Step, Hi-Lo Aerobics, Kickboxing, and strengthening exercise.

Intermediate to Advanced

Rave Cycle

Cycle with us and you'll be raving about it. This class is a forty-five minute workout combining the benefits of cycling with the motivational force of a group exercise class. Conquer challenging hills, hammer out sprints, and develop your will power. The ultimate mind body challenge.

Beginner, Intermediate to Advanced

Power Sculpt

1-hour body sculpting class working single muscle groups to fatigue. These exercises are performed at a station that includes a step, free weights and tubing. Movements are simple and athletic with rhythmic variations to modify intensity.

Step/Sculpt

High energy step coupled with body sculpting.  Modifications will be shown for maximum intensity based on your fitness level.

Pilates

Pilates or Physical mind method, is a series of non-impact exercises to develop strength, flexibility, balance and inner awareness. Pilates can be done by someone at any fitness level. Pilates promotes a feeling of physical and mental well-being and also develops inner physical awareness. It strengthens and lengthens the muscles without creating bulk. Pilates is also helpful in preventing and rehabilitating from injuries, improving posture, and increasing flexibility, circulation and balance.

Cardio Kickboxing

Challenging, Non-Contact Fitness Kickboxing!!! Learn technique coupled with choreographed punches, jabs, bobs, kicks and fancy footwork.

Modifications are shown to accommodate all fitness levels.

 

Zumba

The newest, soulful, totally hot workout!  A fusion of Latin and international dance music, in a fun party-like atmosphere.  It's different, easy and effective.

This program introduces the fundamental, intermediate and more flowing movements of bellydance.  Express the dancer from within!
