Autocrossing

1987 Mustang GT  Note sign on trunk lid
I started Autocrossing in 1991with the Mustang pictured above.  I loved the power and the sound from the 5.0 liter. I do miss this car.

My wife and I both autocrossed at North Hills Sports Car Club and Steel Cities Region SoloII. IMHO the best pavement was at Connellesville Airport.

My first RX-7 was a project car started by Grassroots Motorsports Magazine. This car was featured in 4 issues of 1994. It was a '79 and had a Street Ported 13B with Haltech Fuel Injection System. The engine would wind out and scream. It seemed like it would wind out forever.

A few Mustang friends and I started renting Nelson Ledges Road Course. This I believe was the true beginning to N.L. Fun Days.
