HT Battery Problems? How old are those batteries, anyway?   MAHA
You might find a couple of applications on this site. Sure, the obvious HT application, but what about your digital camera or camcorder? You can find info on these and other applications at the MAHA website.
On the Ham Radio Products page you'll find info on NiMH Battery Packs (by manufacturer), Rapid Chargers, and NiMH Consumer Battery Cells. MAHA also carries HT RF Amplifiers and Speaker Microphones.

Getting on towards Spring....when a ham's fancy turns to Antennas! So, better start thinking climbing, too. And, we all want to climb safely, right? So we can enjoy the fruits of that labor at the rig, not in a cast!
This is a small, simple site. But it gives you products to think about, so that makes it effective.
Products include:
  • ONV Full Body Fall Arrest Harness
  • ONV Safety Belt with Seat and Lanyard
  • ONV Regular Safety Belt with Lanyard
  • ONV Climbing Web Lanyard (3 foot) with Gorilla Hook
Found an Oops!, though. The image below the list of products appears to be a link to another page, but if so, then there's a site problem. The link gives an error.

Well, if you're planning antenna work, be sure to visit Radioware.
Well, the first page is promoting CQ's 15-month calendar. Not sure, but I think this page is a Christmas leftover! Clue: "There's plenty more holiday goodies available, so take a look around!" Oh well.....I guess some sites don't get updated as often as The Ham WeblogTM, HI!!
Radioware has a slew of product pages, among them:
Radioware also stocks books, CD-ROM's & Software, Radio Modifications, and Study Guides.
They also list a Specials section:

Do you receive The ARRL Letter each week via Email?
The ARRL Letter is available to ARRL members free of charge directly from ARRL HQ. Published weekly each Friday, The Letter is a great source of the latest news of the week in amateur radio.
Now, I gotta tell ya, this is really a great perk of League membership. You don't even have to open the front door, let alone slog thru rain or snow down to the mailbox!! And, The Letter covers everything from the latest happenings at FCC to what's new this coming weekend on the bands:   propagation, contests, special events, you name it.
To subscribe, unsubscribe or change your address for e-mail delivery: ARRL members first must register on the Members Only Web Site, Members Only. You'll have an opportunity during registration to sign up for e-mail delivery of The ARRL Letter, W1AW bulletins, and other material. To change these selections--including delivery of The ARRL Letter--registered members should click on the "Member Data Page" link (in the Members Only box). Click on "Modify membership data," check or uncheck the appropriate boxes, and click on "Submit modification" to make selections effective. (NOTE: HQ staff members cannot change your e-mail delivery address. You must do this yourself via the Members Only Web Site.)
Not a League member? Not to worry! You can read the latest issue at ARRLWeb -- when it's distributed by email. My guess is that it won't be posted there, though, until the emails are shipped out, HI!

Need a new Mic? Check out Heil Sound
Just caught this in my new April QST. Heil has a "new" microphone out. Actually, this is a re-release of their BM-10 Boom Mic Headset.
Wow! This website is busssssyyy! Seems like everything is flashing at me. Actually, it isn't THAT busy, but on first download it sure seemed like it, HI!
Click the New Products link/icon to check out the "new" BM-10. Hmmmmmmm....no photo. Well, I guess it's that new, HI! Well, I'm wrong; just goes to show you. However, in my defense, the links aren't really that intuitive. Of course, in the case of the BM-10 page, it does say quite clearly to "Click on a bullet below...." And, sure enough, click on the The original BM-10 lightweight boomset takes you directly to a photo page of this neat little guy!
However, should you want to check the price of this baby, once again, you're pretty much on your own. Hint: Back on the New Products page, pass your mouse over the PLEASE TAKE TIME.... text line. Yep, sure 'nuf, that's the link to the BM-10 pricing page. C'mon guys, give us a little help here.

If you're in the market for a new directional array, check Traffie Technology.
Ok, again featured in April QST under New Products, Traffie reports that they've done some design updates to their line of HF antennas. Latest design improvements include
  • UV resistant Phillystran lines at non-element spans
  • heavy duty machined ferrules for its two-piece fiberglass arms
  • improved center support w/ Teflon insulation at its feed point and internal wiring harness
Also, Traffie is introducing the HDX-30, new 30 ft. telescoping aluminum mast for its HX-5B.
One neat feature of this site is the theory of operation for the Traffie Hex-beam.
The Photos page is really neat. Now I recognize this antenna. I've seen it in the ham pubs before.....it's the antenna that looks like the framework of a very large umbrella...inverted! The severe WX photo set is really impressive, especially for an essentially wire array. Certainly unlike a quad!!
