ManDoom: Manly-Ass Doom


ManDoom is a slightly modified ZDoom Windows build made to make every player death permanent by disallowing abuse of the save and load features of the Doom engine. ManDoom can also provide randomly-generated maps every session.


Balls-out tension.


Like ZDoom, simply place a Doom IWAD (doom.wad, doom2.wad, tnt.wad, plutonia.wad) in the executable's directory and run. It would probably work with other IWADs, I haven't tried.

v2.00 (07/15/2013): Updated to ZDoom 2.7.1, new menus and other little changes along with it.
v1.17: No jumping.
v1.16: Added menu options to randomize maps and to revert to original maps.
v1.15: Added random level support (powered by OBLIGE), added support for per-IWAD saves. Use "-random" command line argument or the included batch file.
v1.14: Added new difficulty levels and changed dmflags options menu. Four new difficulty levels have been added; Hurt Me Plenty with respawning monsters, Ultra-Violence with respawning monsters, Berserker (no ammo pickups and very, very few weapons, but many more Berserk pickups), and Stupid.
