1 Aug- Lee and his crew had 6 yellowfin.  These guys had a great day offshore.  Way to go guys.

2 Aug - Pete and his crew had a yellowfin.  .  Good job guys and the lady.

5 Aug - Jeff's work associates along with Sammy  caught a nice wahoo that put Tuna Dog on the OCFC Leader Board.  Good job guys.

6 Aug - We had a makeup charter and hooked a few fish but were not able to get them on the boat.

9 Aug - Robert and his family went out for a day offshore and brought back a nice yellowfin..

Below is a note we received from Greg with his experience with the Tuna Dog

To anyone considering booking an off-shore fishing trip with the "Tuna Dog", here is a little insight.  We went out in early August, four had never been on a charter trip, and only one had ever hooked a tuna previously.  We ended up getting one yellow-fin in the boat, fought two others, and caught some nice size bluefish (much to the displeasure of the Captain).  While fighting one the fish Aric Gilley quickly removed all items from his pockets as he was assisting getting the tuna away from the boat.  Later we learned that he was preparing to dive overboard if the line got caught up under the boat.  In talking later he was asked why he didn't charge more on the charter, and he simply stated that he'd rather be fishing than sitting at the dock.  Aric Gilley spent the entire trip putting us on fish, on a day when hardly anyone was getting a nibble.  If you are looking for a trip where the Captain puts all available effort to making the outing a success, willing to dive overboard to get a fish in the boat, and charges less than anybody else to avoid sitting on the dock, book with the "Tuna Dog", or spend more for a nice boat ride.

11 Aug - Tony and his crew went out but unfortunately the weather turned rough and had to come back in early.

13 Aug - John and friend came back with a nice yellowfin - I do not have the pictures but am hoping John can send me some.

 

25 Aug - Bill and his family along with his friends came back with some nice dolphin.  Good job everyone.
